My passion for Theatre
I love being on stage and have participated in plays at every opportunity I have gotten in school. It gives me an adrenaline rush like no other. I have pursued my interest in Theatre by attending multiple workshops, the latest being in 2022, a performing arts theatre program for Trinity Certification, a theatre studies program offered by Okapi, a Bangalore based performance art, visual design and content production company run by Ananth Menon & Rebecca Spurgeon, Artistic Director, Jagriti.

Checkmate - Webseries by Anvi Malhotra
In 2021, as a 9th grader, I wrote, directed, and produced a web series named “Checkmate” on the theme of group intelligence. It was an hour-long web series with 4 episodes and had to be created during the lockdown caused by the pandemic. I lead the whole process managing over 70 people and incorporating them into the web series making process and outcome. As an outcome of these journeys, I learned how to organize various events and mold myself to the criteria’s presented when necessary. I learned how to communicate efficiently to large groups of people making sure everyone was on the same page. The web series is currently hosted on You Tube as a 4 part series
